You must be able to work unsupervised and proactively assist the Estate Manager in all matters requiring an electrical input. You will be expected to be able to work on your own initiative and to agreed performance targets, demonstrating a high level of organisational and time management skills.

You must have a minimum of 5 years electrical experience as an Approved Electrician and be able to undertake a variety of domestic & commercial electrical tasks including installation works, maintenance, fault finding, inspection, testing & certification.

Please note that the current duties of our electrician post includes the maintenance and servicing of low pressure boilers and ancillary systems.

As the work is in a school context, you will be required to attain PVG membership.

You should hold a valid full UK driving licence.

Should you attend the School out of hours for an emergency or routine matter, you will be remunerated at the rate in force at that time.

Ideally, the start date is the 21st of June to allow a 10 week handover period with the retiring School Electrician (who retires at the end of August), but this is negotiable for the right Candidate.

Benefits include;
• Competitive salary

• Personal accident insurance
• Pension Scheme (after qualifying period)
• 30 days paid annual leave
