The Curriculum
Academic work is central to life at Strathallan. Over 95% of our pupils go on to University or some other form of Higher Education, and our A-level results are among the best in the country.
This section includes information on the School's departments and the Support for Learning department which underpins their work.
For a detailed breakdown of academic results, please select Results from the menu on the left. Advice is available to help with Course Choices, and there is further information on academic departments.
Strathallan has a full-time Careers Adviser, who can help pupils to choose the most appropriate subjects, discuss the university application system and make career choices to suit their personal strengths and interests.
The Departments within the School aim to provide the best of Scottish education, and the academic achievements of Strathallan’s pupils are among the best in the country. The teaching staff are committed to the welfare, happiness and success of the pupils.
Academic facilities are being constantly upgraded and improved, giving pupils access to the latest technology and learning materials. Recent additions include a new art school, purpose-built design and technology centre, new biology and chemistry laboratories, and an extensive expansion of the School’s ICT facilities.
