Economics & Business Studies

The Department is heavily focused on showing the importance of Economics and Business Studies in relation to wealth creation in our society and its impact on living standards.

External visits are undertaken to enhance the classroom experience.  Recent visits include Caithness Glass, Coca-Cola, Norwich Union, ASDA and McDonalds.

Mrs Ingram-Forde runs the Young Enterprise/Fair Trade Programme as an additional activity.  Law is also offered as an additional activity allowing pupils to sit GCSE and AS Law Examinations where possible.
