Geography
Geography is a popular subject at Strathallan and is taught from 1JJ through to Sixth Form, when pupils can take AS/A2 exams or Scottish Higher in Geography. The department has four members of staff whose experience and expertise enrich the pupils who study geography. The department teaches a wide range of geographical and transferable skills as well as an awareness of contemporary issues.
The Sixth Form benefit from a series of visiting lecturers throughout the academic year to enhance and broaden their understanding of the subject and to maintain important links with the tertiary sector.
A unique facility to which the School has access is the Met. Office weather station which is established in the School Grounds, and maintained by a former member of staff.
