Netball
Girls have the opportunity to play netball at all ages in the School with at least 2 teams fielded at each age group. In the spring term we have school fixtures on a weekly basis.
The 1st VII play in the Perth & Kinross Ladies league every Wednesday throughout the year and gain valuable experience playing in this adult league. The senior team also play in the Independent Schools Tournament and the Scottish Schools Cup Competition is entered by our 2 senior teams.
Girls have the opportunity to try out for Perth & Kinross district teams at U15, U17 and U19 levels
Netball Tour 2008 - Barbados
Our girls returned after two weeks in Barbados having had a wonderful experience and enjoyed some good games of netball in addition to a wonderful experience of seeing the island of Barbados and meeting a number of other schools. Against the Barbados national champions both the A and the B team lost narrowly. Against Harrison’s College the A team won 16-8 and the B team drew. The B team were successful against St Barnabis’ while the A team went down, both teams struggling in the very hot conditions. Players made good progress during the course of the tour and learned much for the season which awaits.
