Strength & Conditioning
Senior pupils have an opportunity to improve their health and fitness by choosing the fitness option on games afternoons. Pupils are encouraged to follow a programme that will improve their general fitness levels and therefore their overall health and wellbeing. The fitness room is open four nights per week for senior pupils to attend after prep. There are also group sessions organised for specific teams in a variety of different sports.
There is athlete development programme which runs throughout the year which is designed to improve the strength and conditioning of pupils who are participating in competitive sport.
Our top “Athletes” follow individualised programmes overseen by Mr Andrew Henderson. There is also fitness testing which enables pupils to work towards achieving their fitness goals.
