Young Enterprise
The Young Enterprise Programme allows pupils with an interest in Business to apply and develop their knowledge by running a real business. Over the past few years the Young Enterprise pupils have run a variety of Fair Trade Programmes, raising a considerable amount of money in their efforts.
At the end of the programme pupils sit an external exam and if successful are awarded a Young Enterprise certificate which is recognised in the field of business.

Several LVI pupils attended the Tayside Young Enterprise masterclass held last Wednesday 29th September at the Invercarse Hotel in Dundee. Strathallan was one of approximately 10 schools attending from across the region. Pupils took part in a business simulation involving making paper aircraft. Based on the amount of profit made, Rosie Gibson's team won overall. Nick Gilmore's team had the best quality aircraft - based on the distance they could "fly". Everyone participated fully and enjoyed this experiential learning evening. They are now keen to start their own companies within the school under the umbrella of Y.E.S. [Young Enterprise, Scotland].
