As of the Summer Term 08 a new house family will be moving into Simpson House.  Housemaster Gavin Batterham, his wife Liz and children Pauric and Saoirse are looking forward to their first term in their new home. 

The rest of the Simpson team consists of a hard-working team of tutors, Matron and the other domestic staff. We hope to provide a caring, safe, supportive and disciplined environment for all members of the House, encouraging all to fulfil their potential, both as an individual and as a valued member of the house and school.

Our Head of House this year is Mohamed Abdo, who, ably assisted by deputies Bobbie Cooke and Toby Robertson and his team of House Prefects, helps to organise day-to-day running of Simpson. The House Council which is steered by this group and also includes representatives from each year group ensures that the boys have an active say in what goes on in the House.

 

 

The boys in Simpson are a pretty diverse lot and enthusiasms are wide ranging and include sporting cultural and sometimes even academic pursuits. The house has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and if you are thinking of coming to Strathallan we would be happy to show you around our home.
