Strathallan Co-educational Boarding and Day School, Scotland
Strathallan aims to provide boys and girls from 9 to 18 years of age with such a range of academic work, games and activities that there is an opportunity for everyone to excel at something.
Strathallan is already one of the best resourced co-educational boarding schools in Scotland with all its boarding accommodation for both boys and girls of modern design and build. Recent upgrading and improvement has also been completed in the Art Department, Design & Technology Centre, Biology and Chemistry Laboratories, Fitness Room, Tennis Courts and Netball Courts.
Last year, a brand new state of the art Computing Centre was built and a major refurbishment of the Dining Hall was completed.
The stated aim of Strathallan is to provide opportunities for all our boys and girls to excel and nowhere is this more true than in their academic results. The academic programme is central to life at the school, and Strathallan has maintained its position as one of the most successful co-educational boarding and day schools in Scotland for academic achievement.
The range of scholarships available at Strathallan reflects the school’s desire to encourage those with outstanding ability in one of a number of different areas. Scholarship exams are held in February for children aged 9, 10, 11 or 12 and in March for pupils up to the age of 14.
Past and prospective pupils are always welcome to make an appointment to look around Strathallan and to meet key staff who would be involved in their pastoral care, the classroom and the extra curricular programme.
