Strathallan Clay Pigeon Shooters finish well in the World Sporting Clay Shooting Championship
A huge congratulations to Lewis Turnbull and Strathallian Alasdair Lightbody, who competed for Scotland U21s at the weekend at the World Sporting Clay Shooting Championship in England. The team finished fourth out of the nine teams involved - and by just 2 clays. A great result!
We are thrilled that our Clay Pigeon shooting team continue to excel. We have a dedicated clay shooting range here at Strathallan - the only school in Scotland to own such a facility. It is widely used, and is always a popular sport among our pupils from both within the school and for those visiting.
We have fantastic coaches to guide our pupils on their way, and we are delighted with the progress being shown under the stewardship of Eddy Buchan - a champion clay pigeon shooter and the youngest certified clay coach in Scotland.
