Congratulations to Alasdair Macdonald who was 3rd (out of 50) in the 75cm class at the Scottish Inter Academy Show Jumping Championships in Edinburgh last weekend. Meghan Macdonald finished 6th (out of 80) in the 85cm class.

Fencing

Highland Open & St Andrews Open

Congratulations to Ariana Serafinceanu who took part in the Highland Open in Elgin last Saturday and finished in 3rd place. She was first seed after the poules, but lost her semi-final direct elimination fight to the eventual winner.

On Sunday Aidan Fuge, Fergus McKay, Ariana and Dr Ferguson competed at the Saints Sabre Open in St Andrews. Ariana was third after the poules and lost the semi-final fight
Aidan and Fergus fenced well in the poules, eventually meeting each other in the last 8; Aidan won after a tense fight, and then lost in the semi-final. Dr Ferguson lost his semi-final therefore Aidan and Dr Ferguson finished joint third.
