Strathallan pupils excel in their LAMDA exams

Strathallan pupils are celebrating an excellent set of LAMDA results this term.

Between results received early in the term for Entry Level to Grade 5, and Grades 6 to 8 (Bronze, Silver and Gold Medal), taken later in the term, a superb total of 85 pupils achieved Distinction (80% and above). Exams were taken in Speaking in Public, Acting, Reading for Performance and The Speaking of Verse and Prose and Choral Speaking. 

All of the pupils taking Gold Medal Acting achieved Distinction. They were Josh M, Jade P, Beth T, Ella E, and Sheena M, who made it a double, joining Maggie E, with Speaking in Public Gold. Doing equally well at Silver Medal level were Bryony B and Ellie N in Acting and Aidan F and Alex B with Speaking in Public, in which subject, at Bronze level, there were distinctions for Amy W, Drew D, Jamie K, Anna M, Douglas B and Imogen M. There were Bronze Distinctions for Alexis F and Morgan P in The Speaking of Verse and Prose. 

There were excellent results in the entry to Grade 5 exams. Double Distinctions were achieved by Ben M, Magnus M, Ethan W, Michael A, Grace A, Annie W and Chloe M.
