Welcoming parents and family to our Strathallian Community

While the Strathallan community is focused on the busy day-to-day lives of the pupils and staff at our idyllic Perthshire home, our sense of community extends to everyone associated with the School – parents, grandparents, and, of course, the Strathallians who champion our values in adult life all over the world.

Parent portal – keeping you in  touch

As a parent you will have access to our Parent Portal. This is an area where you will be able to access all documentation relating to your son or daughter including course subjects, form orders and reports and details of extra-curricular activity.

Click here to access the Parent portal area.

Any parent wishing to share their contact details with others in their child’s year group can do so through Classlist. We send an invitation every year and you can choose what information you would like to share. This is a great way to connect with other parents and provides an instant network of people with whom you can make individual arrangements, ask advice and establish any social events.

StrathConnect is our online networking platform for parents past and present, Sixth Formers and Alumni. It allows members to offer and seek advice, mentoring and post and seek job opportunities. There is a monthly enewsletter to keep you in touch with Strathallan events taking place across the globe and to hear our alumni news. It’s a great way to keep in touch with life after Strath and to support young people as they make their way on their chosen career path. You can find out more and register here.

Regular events

Throughout the year we also hold a number of social and informal events for our parents and family, past and present. Recent events include cocktail evenings, clay pigeon taster day, and of course Strathallian Day, our family fun day which takes place every June.

See forthcoming events here.

Hosting and organising events – helping to support Strathallan

Our greatest advocates are our parents and former parents, as well as our alumni. Throughout the year we hold a number of small events in Scotland, elsewhere in the UK and internationally, designed to help parents and children who are considering Strathallan find out more about the School from the people who really know.

If you would like to help spread the word about Strathallan and can help organise, host or support an event, please get in touch, we would love to hear from you. Please contact the Marketing Department on Tel: +44(0) 815081 or email us.
