Personal development

A focus on developing core skills

In a boarding setting the ethos and core values of the school community are the glue which holds our community together. This programme is designed to augment and to complement the ongoing Personal and Social Development (PSD) which is experienced daily in many areas of the School and contributes greatly to the acquisition of core skills such as communication, problem solving and working with others.

The PSD programme has been developed in order to foster the core values of the School and to sit in alignment with the desired outcomes of ‘A Curriculum for Excellence’, while also developing the skills linked to wellbeing.
