Ever since we were founded in 1913, Strathallan’s ethos has been to offer a broad range of opportunities to suit every pupil. As the School has grown, and the breadth of opportunities have expanded, the campus and facilities have been developed extensively and over the years there has been continued investment in the estate and infrastructure.
The core of the School’s provision is, of course, the academic work and there has been significant investment in classroom facilities. As a boarding school, the pastoral care and residential facilities are also of paramount importance. All our boarding accommodation has been built within the last thirty years, which is a unique position for a boarding school in Scotland. We continue an ongoing programme of refurbishment which has recently included the science labs, classrooms, all senior boarding houses and the Dining Hall.
At Strathallan we believe that education goes beyond the classroom and we are committed to a wide range of extra-curricular activities which complements and builds on the academic provision. The provision of the Wilson Hall now enables our pupils to train all year and in the evenings; a Dance and Drama studio also significantly enhances opportunities in the related areas of theatre, music and dance.
As we look to the future, we will continue to ensure that Strathallan’s facilities are the best they can be to support each generation of new learners.
