Harriet S, Harriet R, Freya H and Ciara P have been named in the Scotland U17 squad, while Corinna S has earned selection for the Scotland U19 squad.

Their selection means all five pupils will now attend monthly national training camps throughout the season, working towards short‑squad selection for upcoming international competitions, including Netball Europe.
For Corinna, this marks her first year in the Scottish pathway and is particularly notable as she has stepped up to the U19 age group a year ahead of her age group.
Louisa Walker, Director of Netball at Strathallan, said: “It’s really exciting for the girls to receive this recognition. It shows the hard work, perseverance and dedication they have put into their sport. For Corinna in particular, this is her first time in the Scottish pathway, and to step up to U19 a year young is a huge achievement.”

One of the Captains of Strathallan School this year, Corinna, said: “I’m absolutely honoured. It’s my first year in the pathway and I’m really excited about the opportunities it’s going to bring. Being part of the pathway is something I’m really looking forward to. I love my team and coaches, and I’ve been playing netball for five years since I came to Strathallan.”
The first major competition on the horizon is Netball Europe, taking place in Nottingham, England, in November.
The five pupils’ selection highlights the strength of Strathallan’s netball programme and the opportunities available to pupils competing at the highest levels of the sport.
All five girls are Strathallan Netball Scholars. Applications for Sixth Form Scholarships for September 2027 entry are now open. Families interested in applying can find full details here.
The deadline for applications is 26th October.
