Accounts Assistant

Strathallan is a leading independent co-educational boarding and day school for pupils aged 9 to 18. We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Accounts Assistant. The post will involve control of purchase ledger and cash book along with some payroll duties. Previous payroll experience is desirable, but not essential as training will be given.

The position is a full time, permanent, year round post and is available from July.

Matron, Senior Girls Boarding House

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the running of a well-established, vibrant and successful school. The position is full time, term-time only, except for short periods of preparatory work before each term. Experience in child healthcare or social care would be an advantage as would an SVQ Level 3 qualification in Social Services (Children and Young People) or equivalent. A genuine commitment to nurturing the wellbeing of the girls in Woodlands House will be essential.

Ideally the successful candidate will start in post on 13 September 2021.

School Staff Instructor (SSI) for Combined Cadet Force

We are seeking to recruit a part-time, term-time only School Staff Instructor (SSI) to support our Contingent Commander. The successful candidate will commence in post from 25 August 2021, working 3 days per week during term-time and an additional 10 days out with term-time. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-organised, forward thinking individual to contribute to Strathallan’s Combined Cadet Force. Please note that this position may be offered on a full-time basis for applicants who could offer other skills such as Outdoor Education and/or Transport Fleet management.

PA to the Bursar and Office Manager

We are seeking to recruit a full-time, permanent PA to the Bursar and Office Manager to commence in post from mid-August 2021. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-organised, professional PA to join the team at Strathallan, leading and managing the office team to deliver outstanding secretarial and administrative support for the School.

Teacher of English & Drama (initially part-time 0.83 fte)

Start date: 25 August 2021

Due to exceptional demand for places, Strathallan School seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of English and Drama to join our team from 25 August 2021. This post is initially offered on a part-time, permanent basis of 0.83 fte but there is every possibility that this may progress to a full-time position. The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner delivering lessons of the highest quality. Applicants are encouraged and expected to participate fully in the pastoral and extra-curricular life of this thriving boarding and day school.
