Marketing and Communications Assistant

Strathallan School seeks to appoint a Marketing and Communications Assistant to provide administrative and marketing support to the External Relations team. This is a busy and diverse role that will require you to turn your hand to a variety of tasks, from event planning, alumni and parent communications and database management to capturing and creating social media content, designing marketing materials and collecting and analysing market research. This post presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and hard-working marketer looking for entry-level experience in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Teacher of Mathematics

Strathallan seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring full-time Teacher of Mathematics to join a forward-looking and ambitious department from September 2022. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, skilled teacher with excellent subject knowledge. An ability to teach throughout the age range 7 to 18 (GCSEs, Highers, Advanced Highers and A Levels) will be an advantage although is not essential. Applications are invited from both newly qualified teachers as well as more experienced candidates. Single, on-site accommodation may available if the successful candidate were to be appointed to the role of Resident Tutor in one of the School’s senior boarding houses. The post-holder is expected to uphold and actively promote the ethos of Strathallan and participate in the pastoral and extra-curricular life of our thriving boarding and day school. Housemaster, Freeland

Strathallan is seeking to appoint an outstanding and committed Housemaster to lead Freeland House, one of four senior boys’ boarding houses in the school, to start in post from either April or September 2022.

Freeland House is centrally located in the School’s 153-acre campus and approximately sixty boys aged 13-18 (both boarding and day pupils) are assigned to the boarding house. The Housemaster is supported by a Resident Tutor, a Senior Tutor, a Matron and a team of tutors. The post would suit an experienced teacher with an outstanding track record in the classroom alongside significant pastoral experience in a boarding school. A calm, resilient, enthusiastic and optimistic outlook is essential for this role as is personal warmth, empathy and an understanding of young people. Head of Learning Support

Strathallan School seeks to appoint a Head of Learning Support from either April or September 2022 to manage, lead and develop a dynamic and forward-thinking department. This opportunity will suit a highly motivated, well-organised, innovative leader who will be able to help shape, direct and deliver an exciting future for the Learning Support department in line with Strathallan’s founding vision which combines inclusion and excellence.

The Head of Learning Support is a key leadership role in the School, and the successful applicant will report to the Deputy Head (Academic) and work closely with the Senior Management Team, Heads of Department and members of the Learning Support team to manage, lead and develop this department and contribute to and deliver the Schools’ Strategic Development Plan. Electrician

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of a well-established, vibrant and successful school. We are seeking to appoint an Electrician to join our Estates & Grounds team on a full-time, permanent basis as soon as possible. This is a varied and interesting role, contributing to the maintenance and repair of our buildings and would suit a skilled/semi-skilled tradesman. A competitive wage dependent on suitability and experience will be offered along with free meals during term time, personal accident insurance and death-in service cover.

Seasonal Staff - Activity Leaders

Strathallan School is seeking to recruit a pool of staff to assist with our Spring and Summer Activity programmes. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and with a variety of skills and experience to support and deliver our programme of activities and events for children and young people. These are temporary, seasonal positions working during the Easter and Summer holidays. Further details are available below.
