How do I get to Strathallan?
Strathallan School is within easy reach of Scotland's main transport routes, here's how to find us.
What can I expect when I arrange a visit?
If you arrange an individual visit with us you'll get the chance to:
- Meet our Headmaster or one of our Deputy Heads to talk about your child’s interests, aspirations and ask any questions you may have.
- Take a tour of the School with senior pupils.
- Meet with a houseparent and view a boarding house.
We suggest wearing comfortable footwear as our campus is quite large. Your visit should last between two and three hours.
Do you run pupil transport?
Yes, we run a network of buses that provide pickups and drop-offs for day pupils throughout the region from Monday to Saturday during term time.
Do you have leave weekends?
We have no leave (exeat) weekends in the Senior School. In Riley House, our Junior School, we have two leave weekends in the Autumn Term, and one leave weekend in both the Spring and Summer Terms.
Do day pupils have to pay extra to stay for their evening meal and prep?
No, our day fees include evening meals and pupils are welcome to be collected after prep. Our buses leave at 7.30pm but our older pupils are often collected by parents later on in the evening if they wish to stay longer.
Can day pupils board occasionally?
Although we don't offer flexi-boarding, we can offer occasional boarding for day pupils. All day pupils are part of a house and if they stay overnight, the fee is charged on a nightly basis.
At what age do boarders get their own room?
All girl boarders in the Senior School have their own single study bedroom and boys are allocated single rooms from Fourth Form onwards.
