Rangers striker to takeover Strathallan School’s Instagram account

Former pupil and professional footballer, Nathan Young-Coombes, aims to inspire the next generation as he takes over the Strathallan Instagram account for a live Q&A this week.

The 17-year-old who left Strathallan School in 2018, will go live on Wednesday 20th January at 1 pm GMT, answering questions from current pupils, former classmates and the Strathallan School community.

Director of Sport, Jim Thompson said, “We are delighted to virtually welcome Nathan back to school and we are really looking forward to hearing about his time at Rangers FC, his aspirations for the future and what, in his opinion aspiring athletes need to be doing during lockdown.”

Nathan’s takeover will take place on Wednesday 20th January at 1pm on the Strathallan School account. Those interested in asking Nathan questions can follow the school account now to receive a notification when the young striker goes live.

Nathan is one of many sporting alumni to takeover the schools account. Recent takeovers include GB Alpine Athlete Charlie Guest and Scottish Rugby Internationals Matt Fagerson, Zander Fagerson and George Horne.
