Among their achievements are prestigious Diplomas from the London College of Music (LCM), qualifications equivalent to performances at university level - a phenomenal milestone for school-age pupils.
Among them, Sophie D achieved an ACLM, equivalent to a second-year university performance. Reflecting on her journey, Sophie said, "It feels great to receive an ACLM. I’ve been building up to this for nearly a decade, having been at Strathallan for 9 years, so it feels amazing to get this recognition.”
Constantin B, who, along with three other Sixth Form pupils, earned an LCM Diploma, shared, "This recognition highlights the effort that goes on behind the scenes in the Music Department, beyond the Big Sing and concerts. It’s the unseen hard work with our music teachers that has helped make it possible for us all to achieve these diplomas.”
He added, “Achieving this qualification at school is such a unique and brilliant opportunity. I wouldn’t have had this chance at my old school in Germany. Strathallan has made it possible.”
Director of Music, Jason McAuley said, “A huge well done to all our talented musicians, and a heartfelt thank you to our dedicated music staff for their guidance and support. Your hard work behind the scenes has truly paid off.”
