For former pupil Duncan Spinner, Ukraine had become his home. He returned to Strathallan this month to share his story.
Scottish veteran Duncan Spinner had been working for the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office for over 7 years in Luhansk, Ukraine, when he was emergency airlifted out with his two-year-old daughter.
Now, he is leading efforts to rescue colleagues stuck in Ukraine and take military surplus equipment back to the country that became his home. He returned to Strathallan to share his story and answer questions from our students.
Strathallan School pupil Alana H played a pivotal role at the recent Scotland Women’s U16 Pathway Festival, helping her squad – the Selkies, one of the national development teams – to two standout victories, including a historic win over the Netherlands.
