New for 2024, this award recognises the efforts made by boarding schools to make a meaningful and positive environmental impact both in school and within the local community.
Strathallan School's nomination for this presitigous award reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship within our community. This includes: pupils presenting their sustainability plans with COP28, rewilding and renaturalising large parts of campus, planting over 400+ trees of native Scottish species to encourage greater bio-diversity, reducing waste in our Dining Hall and becoming a home for rescued hedgehogs.
The winners will be unveiled during the upcoming BSA Annual Conference for Heads, hosted at the Hilton Hotel, London Heathrow, Terminal 5, on Tuesday 7th May.
As we eagerly await the results, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all our dedicated staff, students, and partners who have contributed to our sustainability initiatives. Together, we continue to strive towards a greener and more sustainable future for our school and beyond.
