The Strathallian has landed

The largest edition of the Strathallian ever produced has arrived and we can't wait to share all 140-pages of it with you

Yet as the world came to a standstill, Strathallan kept moving. Learning continued uninterrupted, activities were adapted and challenges were met.

What a pleasure it is to edit The Strathallian. To be reminded of the many ordinary joys that make our year, from inter-House competitions to artistic performances and sporting triumphs. The contents page of The Strathallian varies little from year to year but each edition tells its own unique story.

This year’s story of course is by any standard extraordinary. Yet as the world came to a standstill, Strathallan kept moving. Learning continued uninterrupted, activities were adapted and challenges were met. If I had wondered how 2020 would affect content for The Strathallian, the answer is now here for you to see. At 140 pages it is the largest edition we have ever produced.

My thanks go to all who contributed, to Louis Dunn for his proof-reading skills and particularly to Dominic Glasgow, Ken Paterson and Neil Hamilton whose beautiful photographic images are evident throughout.

- Mrs Catherine Howett, Editor of the Strathallian
