Story Explorers 2025-26
Where stories come to life
Strathallan’s much-loved literacy programme is back for its third year, and bigger, better and more imaginative than ever before. With a wider age bracket and seasonal themes, it's a storytelling adventure the whole family can enjoy together for the first time.
What is Story Explorers?
At Strathallan Prep School, we believe in the power of storytelling to ignite young imaginations. Story Explorers takes young readers on a storytelling adventure designed to capture the imagination and spark a lifelong love of literature. Each session is themed around a classic or much-loved children’s story, with a range of immersive experienced inspired by the tale.
The Tale of Peter Rabbit
Hop into spring with Story Explorers as we bring Beatrix Potter’s much-loved tale, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, to life at Strathallan Prep School. Young Explorers aged 0-6 are invited to step into Peter’s world and enjoy a live reading, seasonal crafts and a hunt for chocolate treasure in our beautiful campus grounds.
This is a joyful, immersive morning for families to share together and a beautiful introduction to the world of Beatrix Potter, whose inspiration was drawn from her time spent in Perthshire as a child and young woman.
