Story Explorers 2025-26
Where stories come to life
Strathallan’s much-loved literacy programme is back for its third year, and bigger, better and more imaginative than ever before. With a wider age bracket and seasonal themes, it's a storytelling adventure the whole family can enjoy together for the first time.
What is Story Explorers?
At Strathallan Prep School, we believe in the power of storytelling to ignite young imaginations. Story Explorers takes young readers on a storytelling adventure designed to capture the imagination and spark a lifelong love of literature. Each session is themed around a classic or much-loved children’s story, with a range of immersive experiences inspired by the tale.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Join us on Friday 6th June for a magical morning of storytelling, creativity, and outdoor discovery as we follow one very hungry caterpillar on his journey from tiny egg to beautiful butterfly. Young Explorers aged 0-6 (and their grown-ups) are invited to step into the story and enjoy a live reading, themed crafts and nature-inspired activities celebrating growth, transformation and the wonder of the natural world.
As always, there will be plenty of opportunities for families to relax, connect, and enjoy refreshments together in the warm and welcoming surroundings of Strathallan Prep School.
